INTERNET SERVICE SHOULD BE RESTORED EARLY NEXT WEEK
CA-Bloomington's Internet service has been down since early afternoon on November 21; both World Wide Web and email access have been unavailable to CA-Bloomington staff and students. This has affected the staff's ability to check email and post updates on their web pages. Our new Internet service is scheduled to be activated early next week. Thank you for your continued patience.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT, MEAL ARE DECEMBER 18
Join band and choir members for "O Holy Night," the Fine Arts Christmas Celebration on Sunday, December 18, at 3:00 p.m. at CA-Bloomington. In addition to the music, artwork by art students will be on display. Following the concert, you're invited to enjoy homemade soups and sandwiches. Tickets for the meal are $5 per person or $20 per family, with profits supporting the spring choir tour. Their is no admission charge for the concert; a freewill offering will be taken.

PLAN TO ATTEND BARNES & NOBLE FUNDRAISER ON DECEMBER 19
A fantastic way to support CA-Bloomington and do Christmas shopping at the same time is almost here! On Monday, December 19, up to 25% of your purchases at the Galleria Barnes & Noble in Edina can go towards CA-Bloomington. Just shop there on December 19, and turn in the special voucher (available at www.lutheranhighschool.com/lhsevents/bookfair.cfm) when you check out. You can also help by giving vouchers to friends and family and letting them know about this great opportunity. CA-Bloomington library volunteers will also be doing gift wrapping on the 19th, 2:00-10:00 p.m. Questions? Call the school at 952-854-0224.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21

11:15 - CHRISTMAS BREAK STARTS
TUESDAY, JANUARY 3
SCHOOL RESUMES; SECOND SEMESTER STARTS
Any student who does not have a class during 8th, 5th, or 1st hour does not have to arrive until the next final exam period. If a student does not have a 6th, 3rd, or 2nd hour class, they will be allowed to go home early. If a student has a study hall that falls between two finals, they will be required to report to that classroom for supervision during the testing period. STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE HALLWAYS DURING TESTING PERIODS.

SPIRITWEAR AVAILABLE DECEMBER 12, INCLUDING SPECIAL BASKETBALL ITEMS
Starting December 12, new Lancer Spiritwear in a variety of styles will be available. Check out the selection and get details at any home basketball games, or talk to any Booster Club member. Lancer clothing items make excellent Christmas gifts! Also, special basketball apparel will be available for families of basketball players. Profits from sales of basketball items will go directly to the Lancer basketball program. See John Venzke for details about these special items.

CANDY AND FRUITCAKE SALES GOING WELL
Do you need a small gift for Christmas? Does your favorite aunt love fruitcake? Do you need one more stocking stuffer? PFA has just the thing. Candy and fruitcake are still available. If you are interested in purchasing some, contact Marilee in the school office or call Debbie Heggemeier at 952-844-0128. Prices are as follows: 1 lb. Fruitcake is $10; 2 lb. Fruitcake is $19; Small Turtles are $8 and Large Turtles are $14; Small Layered Mints are $7 and Large Layered Mints are $12; Peanut Clusters are $10; and Peppermint Crunch is $10.

LOST AND FOUND CHRISTMAS SHOW IS DECEMBER 10
Christian band Lost And Found will join with jugglers The Fitz Family, actor (and former LHS drama director) Justin Vetrano, singer Rachel Kurtz, and rapper David Scherer (AKA Agape) for the 7th Annual Lost And Found Christmas Show. It takes place on Saturday, December 10, at St. James Lutheran Church (6700 46th Place in Crystal). Admission is $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Children under age 7 are admitted free. Questions? MOMS IN TOUCH MOMENT
This past Wednesday, we prayed about "God is our joy." For our children, we prayed that Jesus would bind Satan and his demonic influences in their lives. We also prayed that Jesus would help them to remember to put on the armor of God each day and to be prepared to fight the enemy with the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:10). If you have a moment, you might pray the same for your children. Any mom interested in joining our group is welcome.
