CELEBRATE
WITH SENIORS AT GRADUATION TONIGHT
Graduation takes place TONIGHT, Friday, May 25, at 7:00 pm at CA-Bloomington
in the Dan Reuss Memorial Gymnasium. Dennis Schulstad, U.S. Air Force Brigadier
General (Ret.) will be the speaker. All are invited! Starting May 31, graduation
photos can be viewed online. Go to www.concordiaacademy.com,
click on "Bloomington," and then click on the graduation photos banner.
Downloads will be available and prints in a variety of sizes and formats will
be available for purchase.

REMINDER ABOUT TUITION & FEES
Please remember that, in order for students to receive report cards or for seniors
to participate in graduation, tuition and fees payments and any fines must be
current and all school materials must be returned. Thank you in advance for your
help.
HANSEMANN
GOLF TOURNAMENT IS JUNE 9
The 14th Annual CA-Bloomington Lyle M. Hansemann Golf Tournament is set for June
9 at Southern Hills Golf Course in Farmington. Golfers of all levels are welcome;
this is a casual and fun tournament. Proceeds
from the tournament go towards scholarships for CA-Bloomington students. The
tournament is named in honor of Lyle M. Hansemann (’74), an LHS graduate
who died in 1993 serving in the military during the Gulf War. Registration
brochures were mailed
with mid-quarter grades and can also be downloaded
here. Get some friends together and register for this fun day!
VOCAL RECITAL ON MAY 29
The CA-Bloomington Madrigals, along with vocal students of Dorley Lerud (CA-Bloomington
Madrigals director), will hold a recital at CA-Bloomington on Tuesday,
May 29 at 6:30
p.m.
in
the
chapel.
All are invited!
CROSS COUNTRY AND MEN'S SOCCER
CA-Bloomington
is pleased to announce that cross country and men's soccer will return as athletic
offerings for the fall 2007 season. Questions about
cross country may be directed to Coach Brian Melendez at brian.melendez@concordiaacademy.com.
Men's soccer will offer a JV schedule for grades 7-12. Questions about
the men's soccer team should be directed to Dan Maser, Athletic Director at dan.maser@concordiaacademy.com

SPRING SPORTS PICNIC IS MAY 30
A Spring Sports Celebration for all baseball and softball players, managers,
coaches, and families will take place Wednesday, May 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the
school cafeteria. Cost is $8.00 per person, payable at the door (includes
the cost of
coaches' meals and gifts). Please RSVP before May 27 to mary_anderson@comcast.net.

SUMMER CAMPS PARTNER WITH MN TWINS
Lancer Summer Camps at Concordia Academy-Bloomington offer opportunities for
students who love sports to develop their God-given talents, enjoy fellowship
with old and new friends, and grow as athletes. Cost for each camp is $75. The
following camps will be offered (grade levels listed refer to the grade the student
is entering in fall of 2007):

Cities Youth Baseball & Softball
Training Camp at CA-Bloomington June 25-27, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Students
from CA-Bloomington and its association schools receive a $50 discount
off of the $200 registration fee! To receive this special discount, you must
fill out a separate Twins Camp registration form and make a note that the student
attends a Concordia Academy school. This special discount is not valid with
