MID-QUARTER GRADES
Students received mid-quarter progress reports in advisory meetings on April 26. You should have received a mailing at home that includes those grades and other important information. Please feel free to contact individual teachers with concerns or questions about classes and grades.

NO REGULAR CLASSES NEXT FRIDAY
Regular classes do not meet on Friday, May 11, as CA-Bloomington holds its annual elementary school track and field event. However, many students and staff will be present throughout the day helping run the various activities. Questions? Contact Dan Maser, athletic director.

FACES OF GRACE HOME PERFORMANCE TONIGHT
Faces of Grace, CA-Bloomington's drama ministry team, has spent several months performing at area churches and schools. However, if you haven't caught them yet this year, you'll have a chance TONIGHT, Friday, May 4, when they hold a "home performance" at CA-Bloomington at 7:00 p.m. There is no admission charge, though a freewill offering will be taken. The show is one-hour in length, and a reception will be held after the performance. Faces of Grace takes Biblical parables and puts modern spins on them, bringing the Gospel to life through drama, comedy, music, and dance. This year's stories include The Littlest Part; The Prodigal Son; The Good Samaritan; The Unforgiving Servant; Jonah and the Whale; and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Don't miss this great opportunity for all ages to see students sharing God's word in a unique, meaningful, entertaining way.

CHOIR & BAND CONCERT IS MAY 8
Choir and band will present their final concert of the year on May 8 at 7:00 p.m. at CA-Bloomington. In addition, art by second-semester art students will be on display. There is no charge for admission; a freewill offering will be taken.

MEN'S BASKETBALL FUNDRAISER AT DAVANNI'S ON MAY 9
Twenty percent of your purchase on May 9 (5:00-7:30 p.m.) at the Bloomington Davanni's will go to support the Lancer men's basketball team. To make sure the team receives 20% of your purchase, bring the special voucher form (available in the front office, from basketball players, or at Davanni's that night). Enjoy great food and fellowship and support the Lancers at the same time! Davanni's is located at 8605 Lyndale Ave. S. in Bloomington.

PROM IS NEXT SATURDAY
Tickets are on sale now for the junior/senior prom, which takes place on Saturday, May 12. The public is invited to Grand March at 5:30 p.m. Dinner and the dance follow, with the dance ending at 11:00 p.m. Grand March, dinner, and the dance all take place at the James J. Hill House on Summit Ave. in St. Paul (across the street from the cathedral). Tickets are $30 per person.

"HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL" PHOTOS AVAILABLE
Photos from our sold-out run of "High School Musical" are now available online. Photos can be viewed and downloaded and are available for purchase in dozens of sizes and formats.

YEARBOOK STUDENT SALUTES DUE MAY 4
Information regarding yearbook Student Salute ads was sent home with third quarter grades. These ads give family members and friends a chance to include a special photo and surprise message for their special student(s) in the 2007 yearbook. These ads cost $40. Student Salutes are due May 4. For more information, contact Chris Roth (ext. 311 or chris.roth@concordiaacademy.com).

GOLF TOURNAMENT IS JUNE 9
The 14th Annual CA-Bloomington Lyle M. Hansemann Golf Tournament is set for June 9 at Southern Hills Golf Course in Farmington. Registration brochures were mailed with mid-quarter grades. Get some friends together and register for this fun day! Proceeds from this tournament support the Hansemann Scholarship fund at CA-Bloomington.
