CA SUNDAY AT MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH THIS WEEKEND
On Sunday, April 29, the CA-Bloomington choir and Faces of Grace will be participating in worship (8:00 and 10:30 a.m.) and the education hour (9:15 a.m.) at Messiah Lutheran Church (16725 Highview Avenue in Lakeville). For directions or more information, visit www.messiahonline.org.

FACES OF GRACE HOME PERFORMANCE NEXT FRIDAY
Faces of Grace, CA-Bloomington's drama ministry team, has spent several months performing at area churches and schools. However, if you haven't caught them yet this year, you'll have a chance on Friday, May 4, when they hold a "home performance" at CA-Bloomington at 7:00 p.m. There is no admission charge, though a freewill offering will be taken. The show is one-hour in length, and a reception will be held after the performance. Faces of Grace takes Biblical parables and puts modern spins on them, bringing the Gospel to life through drama, comedy, music, and dance. This year's stories include The Littlest Part; The Prodigal Son; The Good Samaritan; The Unforgiving Servant; Jonah and the Whale; and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Don't miss this great opportunity to see students sharing God's word in a unique, meaningful, entertaining way.

CHOIR & BAND CONCERT IS MAY 8
Choir and band will present their final concert of the year on May 8 at 7:00 p.m. at CA-Bloomington. In addition, art by second-semester art students will be on display. There is no charge for admission; a freewill offering will be taken.

DELEGATES APPROVE ASSOCIATION
We are pleased to announce that at the April 19 joint delegates' meeting of The Lutheran High School Association of Greater Minneapolis (CA-Bloomington) and The Lutheran High School Association of St. Paul (Roseville), the two groups voted to become one association: The Concordia Academy Association of Schools. What does this mean for you? Once the merger process is formalized with the State of MN, our association name will be changed as noted and the Roseville campus will be formally known as Concordia Academy-Roseville. Many of you have watched and helped with this process over the last several years. We thank you, and above all, we give God the glory for allowing us to keep His ministry alive at two schools! Please keep both schools in your prayers.

CALL ACCEPTED
CA-Bloomington is pleased to announce that Mrs. Julie Reid has accepted the Call to be teacher of grades 7-8 in the school's new junior high program. Please keep Glenn and his family in your prayers as he considers this Call.

NEWS FROM PHYL
PFA has just received a check for $160 from Kemps Nickels for Schools programs. Thanks to all of you who have brought in bottle caps. What's new in the library? We are taking inventory by means of the computer for the first time. Thanks, PFA, for the equipment needed. Our library was recently given over 2,000 paperback books. The reading level of these books are from beginner readers to middle school. All the books that can not be used for our school are being offered to our elementary schools. The only glitch to these books is that they are missing the front covers. God is full of blessings and surprises. -Phyl Mueller
