THIRD QUARTER ENDS
Third quarter ends today (Friday, March 3), and Interim Week runs March 6-10. There is no school on March 13. Fourth quarter starts on March 14, and third quarter grades will be sent out late that week. Please remember that all accounts need to be current in order for grades to be sent out.

INTERIM OFFICE HOURS
During Interim Week, the school will have limited office hours: 9:00-11:30 daily. Please note that several of our staff members will be out of town on school-sponsored trips next week. All staff voicemail extensions and email addresses are posted on the school web site.

INTERIM WEEK BEGINS
Please keep all of our special classes and tours in your prayers this coming week. We pray for good health, safe travel, excitement in new experiences, and fellowship of students and staff. parents, thank you for your support of this program!

KEEP UP WITH INTERIM THROUGH OUR INTERIM BLOG!
During Interim Week, many classes (including traveling courses) will be keeping friends and family updated on their activities through a special Interim Week blog. SPRING FLING UPDATE
The Spring Fling Auction is two weeks away! Tickets are now on sale! RVSP forms can be downloaded at http://www.lutheranhighschool.com/lhsevents/springfling.cfm . You may also call the main office at 952-854-0224. We look forward to seeing you there! Also, we are still looking for volunteers and donations! Specific donations that we are looking for include: empty baskets or theme baskets, fishing equipment, airline tickets, golf equipment, gift certificates, kid-related items, jewelry, tools, weekend getaways, family-related items. If you can donate any of these items or any items not listed, we would greatly appreciate it! We are also looking for volunteers to help make phone calls to invite CA-Bloomington parents, alumni and patrons! CA-BLOOMINGTON AND ROSEVILLE BANDS HOLD JOINT CONCERT
The bands of Concordia Academy-Bloomington and Concordia Academy-Roseville will present a concert on Thursday, March 16, at 7:00, in the CA-Roseville auditorium. The concert is called " Mostly Movies" and will feature a number of your favorite movie tunes, including several Disney favorites. Concordia Academy-Roseville is just north of Highway 36 at Dale Street, one mile west of 35E. Admission is free.

TIMBERWOLVES' TROY HUDSON TO SPEAK AT CA-BLOOMINGTON
On March 20 at 7:00 p.m., CA-Bloomington invites ALL athletes to hear from Troy Hudson of the Minnesota Timberwolves. During the evening, athletes will also hear from Thomas McKinney (Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Timberwolves) and others who will be discussing the "Bigger Faster Stronger" program. The speakers will talk about the use of weight training, plyometrics, and agility training to improve the ability of athletes in any sport. This free event will be held in the gym. Spread the word and invite friends!

SENIOR PHOTOS DUE
Senior yearbook photos were due this week. Materials for senior blocks (which are quarter-page sections in the yearbook in which a senior can place their own photos and text) were also due this week. Cost is $35. Questions? Contact Chris Roth.

BLOOD DRIVE COMING IN APRIL
Donors are needed for the Blood Drive at CA-Bloomingotn on April 5, Wednesday, 7:30-10:30 a.m. Any parents who are able to give that day would be greatly appreciated. Students must be at least 17 years old to give, be in good health, and eat breakfast that morning. You must be signed up in advance. If plans change, it is okay to call and cancel that day. Our goal is 30 donors. Thanks for your help!

FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN PARTNERS WITH THRIVENT AT CA-ROSEVILLE IN MAY
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is donating $50,000 to Feed My Starving Children to sponsor a volunteer event which will involve 1,800 volunteers packing meals at three different locations on May 6, 2006. Soon, volunteers will have an opportunity to sign up for this event. In preparation, Thrivent is looking to have a committee for our site made up of people from local Thrivent Chapters, local Lutheran congregations, and several students and parents. NEWS FROM PHYL
PFA will receive $24.00 for 100 Tyson Project A+ panels mailed in. They will also receive $54 from inkjet cartridges.Can you name the five Campbell's bonus labels that are worth 5 points each? (Hint: Look for Batman, Jimmy Newtron, Dora the Explorer and Meatball Goldfish soups/) -Phyl Mueller
