CA SUNDAY
AT MT. CALVARY THIS WEEKEND
On Sunday, March 4, Faces of Grace, the CA-Bloomington drama ministry team,
will participate in the 10:45 service at Mt. Calvary in Richfield. They will
then
perform at
the dinner following the late service. For more information,

THIRD
QUARTER ENDS NEXT WEEK
Third quarter ends next Friday, March 9. Interim Week is March 12-16, and there
is no school on March 19 for a Teacher Record Day. Fourth quarter begins March
20.
MUSICIANS
AND MUSIC DONATIONS NEEDED
Several times each month, the school praise band has been enhancing chapel with
their music. However, the group could make good use of some additional equipment,
including a drum
set, bass guitar, microphone stands and mics. Also, a bass player and
a drummer are needed for the pit for the spring musical, "High School Musical."

VOCAL CONTEST
TO BE RESCHEDULED
The Large Group Vocal Contest cancelled for March 1 will be rescheduled for
later
in March. Additional details will be provided once the school has received them.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR APRIL FUNDRAISER EVENTS
-Fabulous Fifties,
our 11th annual Spring Fling with Silent and Live Auctions, is scheduled for
Saturday, April 14 at the Ramada Inn - MOA! Monies raised at the Spring
Fling support CA-Bloomington academic programs, including financial aid
for our students. Our goal is $50,000. A portion of funds raised will
be supplemented by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. We are asking for
every family’s
involvement. Whether you make a donation, volunteer, or do all three,
we need your help to make this event a great success. We need large and
small ticket items. Click

-“ How Does your Garden Grow?” The PFA-sponsored
Salad Luncheon, Quilt Auction, and Style Show intakes place on Saturday,
April 28 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Tickets will be sold March 11 – April
22 at all of our Association Churches and at the main office. This year’s
event includes a punch reception and smaller silent auction of handmade
creations; a catered luncheon of salad, pasta dishes, and dessert; a
style show featuring Cabi fashions; and the ever-popular quilt auction
with our own celebrity auctioneer Chris Roth. Entertainment will be provided
by CA-Bloomington musicians, included the newly-formed madrigal group.
PFA plans to use monies raised at this event to re-carpet some classrooms
and to supply new furnishings for the entrance way of the school. A portion
of funds raised will be supplemented by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Volunteers
are needed to sell tickets, organize fashion show models, help with set-up on
Friday, April 27, and assist with clean-up. If you are willing, please contact

Taaron Iverson is seeking items garden-themed items to be used in centerpieces
that will be auctioned off. If you have any to donate, contact Taaron Iverson
at tiverson@greatnotion.com.
NEWS FROM PHYL
Please remember that we need to save the lids (I call them "caps")
from Prego and ALL V8 products. If labels and UPC codes are turned in from
Prego and V8, I have no choice but to throw them away. Reminder: UPCs from
all goldfish crackers and all Campbell's microwavable soups are worth five
points. We are saving up for 2 USB drives. Each one requires 10,150 points.

LOST AND FOUND IN CONCERT AT FAMILY OF CHRIST
Christian band Lost and Found, who performed a concert at CA-Bloomington in
January, will be in concert at Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Ham Lake
on Friday, March 9, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person or $20 per family.

DINNER AND AUCTION IS MARCH 4
Trinity Lone Oak
Lutheran School, an LCMS school providing pre-k through grade 8 Christ-centered
instruction at 2950 Highway 55 in Eagan,
will be hosting its 15th annual fabulous spaghetti dinner and auction on
Sunday, March 4, beginning at 11:45 p.m. Proceeds benefit the school’s
technology and media resources. Join us for a fun-filled day of spaghetti,
live and silent
