PROGRESS REPORTS ON THE WAY

Please take time to look through them and discuss them with your students. If you have questions about grades, please contact the appropriate teacher(s).

LYNN HENRY CONSIDERS CAO CALL
The Executive Council has extended a call to Lynn Henry to serve as the next chief administrative officer of Concordia Academy. Please pray for Lynn as she considers this call to serve Concordia Academy-Bloomington and Concordia Academy-Roseville in this capacity. As Lynn continues to consider the call over the next several days, she welcomes your thoughts, comments, and questions about her ministry as principal, her ministry as CAO, and future plans for CA-Bloomington. Please feel free to call Lynn (ext. 319) or email her (lynn.henry@concordiaacademy.com). She will make a decision by February 15.

SENIOR PHOTOS DUE FEBRUARY 15
Please note that senior yearbook photos are due at the school by February 15, although we can accept them until the end of the month. Digital files are best (color, 300 dpi JPEG or TIFF files are preferred), but prints can also be submitted. Photos can be taken by the photographer of your choice. Photos should be sent to Chris Roth (chris.roth@concordiaacademy.com). Seniors will receive information about "Senior Blocks" (quarter-page sections of the senior pages that they can purchase for their own personal photos) in the next week.

SMART TUITION INFO
A few questions have arisen about the new procedure to have all families enrolled in SMART's automatic withdrawal for tuition payment. In addition to the convenience of automatic withdrawal, the plan will allows Concordia to more efficiently manage our budget and finances as we maintain a consistent cash flow. SMART will send tuition statements to families in the 2007-2008 school year, and you will have the option to have payments electronically withdrawn from a bank account monthly or quarterly. Automatic credit card payments will also be accepted, but a 2.5% fee will be charged. Families will still be able to make a one-time payment of a full year's tuition directly to CA. SMART will make monthly adjustments for account credits such as students and parents working at the Xcel or Metrodome, or payments from other sources, etc. Concordia Academy-Bloomington will continue to work with families who experience unexpected hardships or have unique circumstances. You will receive SMART enrollment materials and information later this spring. If you have additional questions, please contact Finance Manager Kim Duis at kim.duis@concordiaacademy.com or phone 952-854-0224, ext. 329. Kim is at the Bloomington office on Wednesday and Friday.

RE-ENROLLMENT INFORMATION SENT
Re-enrollment packets for 2007-2008 were mailed to homes this week. Please watch for them, and look through them carefully. We look forward to continuing to partner with you in the education of your student!

JUNIOR HIGH UPDATE
Since announcing plans to add grades 7 and 8 next year at CA-Bloomington, we've been encouraged by numerous inquiries and the applications we have received. Over the next month, final plans will be developed and announced. We believe that this exciting new program will provide a unique educational option for Twin Cities families and will strengthen Lutheran Christian education in the Twin Cities. We are also excited that St. Peter's Lutheran School has announced that it will be partnering with CA-Bloomington for grades 7 and 8. Brochures and applications are available in the front office, and families registering for the junior high by February 15 will only pay a $50 registration fee, instead of the usual $100 fee. Thank you for helping to spread the word to area families about this important expansion of the ministry of Concordia Academy.
