Concordia
Academy-Bloomington Update for January 19, 2007
Vol. 7, No. 20
OPEN HOUSE IS JAN. 28; CLEAN-UP DAY IS JAN. 27
A school clean-up
day is scheduled for Saturday, January 27, to help make sure that the building
is in the best-possible condition for our open house the next day. Work begins
at 9:00 am and ends at approximately 1:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to
enjoy fellowship with others while sharing time and talents for the betterment
of CA-Bloomington. Please plan to lend a hand! The
winter open house for prospective students and families is Sunday, January
28, 2:00-4:00 p.m. Please spread the word to friends and family members who
are
looking for Christ-centered, quality education for 7th-12th graders. Postcards
promoting the open house are available in the front office.
LOST AND FOUND IN CONCERT ON JAN. 25
Christian band Lost And Found (musicians Michael Bridges and George Baum) will
perform at CA-Bloomington next Thursday, January 25, at 12:40. We will be
on special assembly schedule for the day.
Students from several association schools will be joining us for the concert.
Lost And Found has performed for hundreds
of thousands
of
people
throughout
the
world, including performances at numerous National Lutheran Youth Gatherings.

JUNIOR HIGH UPDATE
Since announcing plans to add grades 7 and 8 next year at CA-Bloomington, we've
been encouraged by numerous inquiries and the applications we have received.
Over the next month, final plans will be developed and announced. We believe
that this exciting
new program will provide a unique educational option for Twin Cities families
and will strengthen Lutheran Christian education in the Twin Cities. Information
sessions will again be offered during the January 28 open house for families
seeking
additional information about the junior high. In addition, brochures and
applications are available in the front office. Thank you for helping to
spread the word to area families about this important expansion of the ministry
of Concordia Academy.
ASSOCIATION BASKEBTALL NIGHTS ARE FEB. 2 AND 8

churches and students and staff at association schools are invited to be our
